Kewford Eagles FC making a great show at National Tournament ESF2018! Round Up:

First up is a huge congratulations to U7North!

They are proud winners of the prestigious "Fair Play Award" at ESF2018 National Football Festival held in Butlins, Minehead, on 28th and 29th April 2018 handed out by Casey Stoney and Kevin Keegan!!

Manager, James Smith, said

'Kewford U7’s parents are such a flagship for any team parents on the correct way to behave on the sidelines that creates and enables the right environment for their children to develop it’s a thoroughly deserved accolade and so proud that it’s been recognised in a national tournament.

The award epitomises how far the team has come in such a short period of time and is deserved recognition of the parents, players and coaches respect, support and encouragement not only to our team but others they play.

Here’s to making more friendships through football and memories that last a lifetime.'

Well done to all the parents, coaches (James, Mark and Adrian) and to the players in attendance Max, Elliott, Edward, William, Finn, and Travis - making all of Kewford Eagles FC and the #SDYFL proud.

Also great recognition to Ian Woodall and Rich Dalton's U8 North who won six of their six group games! That's WWWWWW! They went all the way to the Semi Final. Simply stunning football on show as always from their teams but most importantly they do it in the right way week in week out.

Perry Robinson and Ian Oldacre also showed the teams from all over England and Wales what Kewford is all about. Impeccably well behaved coaches and parents, letting the boys play freely, and by providing a hard to beat team with lots of goals and wins under their belt they came very close to getting to the finals! Well done Perry, Ian and the boys!
